How To: Install The WTF
(Wide Track Front)
At Reflex We strive to bring you the best performance
parts for your Mini-Z. The WTF is one of those
products. We designed the WTF with the newer generation,
larger bodies in mind. We wanted to make the cars
to have better stability at speed and more precise
handling all around the track.
Enter the WTF. This tower bar system widens the
front end of your Mini-Z by 2mm on each side,
enabling you to run zero and negative offset wheels
to reduce scrub and increase steering response,
while at the same time making it wider to increase
stability. Below, we show you how simple it is
to install it.

Ah, the WTF! A 3 Piece aluminum upgrade in
your choice of Matte Black or Blue.
Start off by getting some good wire cutters. We are
going to chop off the original chassis upper and lower
arms.
Easy enough, we clipped off the upper and lower arms
on the chassis.
To clean it up, you can pull out your dremel. Not
necessary, but makes it look better.
See how it is flush now. To reduce some of the scratching,
you can use some fine grit sandpaper.
Next, use 2 screws to bolt on the lower bar to your
chassis.
You can now proceed to bolt on the top bar.
Now you can put your MR-02 back together as you normally
would.
